CHEF'S SPECIALS BOARD AND PUDDINGS

The Chefs at the Red Lion, Boldre are very keen to offer local, seasonal and traditional dishes on the Chef’s Specials Board. This may include fresh Lymington Dressed Crab, fresh fish, whole or filleted, butchers specials or favourites such as our homemade beef wellington.

The Chef’s change the specials menu with such frequency that its hard to say what will be on when you visit, but we are sure you will find it compliments the choice on our main menu!

Please understand if some items sell out; our dishes are homemade and most take some time to prepare for you, however, if you are a fan of homemade, like us, we are sure you will appreciate this.

We hope you will like the addition of several vegan starters and mains and for coeliacs we have a gluten free menu (remember to mention when you order each course that it is the gluten free version you require).

Our puddings are a sweet treat after your main meal and change regularly. We are working on vegan options, at present the only vegan pudding we regularly offer is a cherry lattice pie served with New Forest vegan vanilla ice cream, it is very tasty but watch this space for more vegan puds!
